Weak AI

Weak AI (as opposed to strong AI) is AI that is fully depends on human intelligence.

In other words, weak AI can make calculations, solve problems, or build new systems only to the extent that a human has programmed it. Most of the time when we talk about AI today, we are talking about weak AI (biometric recognition, natural language processing (NLP), et cetera).
