Programmatic guaranteed is an automated purchase method for advertising spaces.

It is particular because it presents fixed pricing, negotiated on the terms of a previously agreed upon contract between an advertiser and a publisher. The ad space sold is thus not up for an RTB auction. Beyond pricing, the fixed terms determine broadcast context for the ad and also “guarantee” a number of impressions (which makes it different from a simple private deal).
