Deep linking

Deep linking is the use of a hyperlink that directs to a specific, “deep” page on a website (or a specific screen on a mobile app) rather than to the website’s home page.

The use of deep linking improves UX, decreases bounce rates, and boosts conversion by giving the user direct access to the content or product he was looking for. Already a widespread practice on the web, it is gradually developing on mobile apps.
