Campaign Manager Floodlight tags

Floodlight is an optional feature in Campaign Manager. It allows you to track and report on conversions and to set up audiences by compiling lists of users who’ve performed specific actions on a site and making those users available for targeting by campaign.

There are three main options available within the tool:

  • Global site tag: to make Floodlight implementation easier, it is possible to implement a global site tag across all Google products by placing a javascript tag on every page of the website.
  • Iframe tags: Iframe tags are used when it’s not possible to adopt a global site tag and will be only added to pages where events are tracked.
  • Image tags: image tags are used when it’s not possible to adopt a global site tag or iframe tags. Iframe tags are  only added on pages where events are tracked.
